Epyllion Vineyard
It was named after the French marshal Ferdinand Foch, who played an important role in the negotiation of the armistice terms at the close of World War 1.
With aromas of black fruits, toasted wheat, mocha, fresh coffee, bitter chocolate, vanilla bean, and musk. This wine produces a very fruit forward dry red wine with a strong blackberry note which many people compare to Syrah. Our highly extracted, and more carefully produced wines made from older plantings of Maréchal Foch have built a dedicated following.
The wine is made from 100% certified organic grapes 5mi from our Estate at the Epyllion Vineyard.
